π Thai Basil Beef & Mushroom Bowls
Here's a go-to quick and easy dinner that has a little bit of everything. This versatile recipe combines finely diced Swiss Brown and Button mushrooms with beef mince. If you prefer, you can swap it out for chicken or turkey mince, resulting in a comforting and satisfying meal that's full of flavour, thanks to aromatics like garlic, ginger, and fresh Thai Basil.
The fresh crunch of the vibrant salad serves as the ideal refreshing side to the beef and mushroom mix. Paired with the rice, you have the perfect healthy, filling, and veggie-packed dinner, featuring a delightful blend of Thai-inspired flavours.
Crunchy Salad with Yoghurt Ranch Dressing & Toasted SeedsThis simple salad is super delicious and a fav for BBQs or alongside pizza or pasta. The key to its flavour lies in the creamy ranch-style dressing and the salty crunch of the seeds. You can find this + many others inside my new SALADS eBook. | Super Green Loaded Baked Potatoes with a Creamy Green Tahini DressingHere's a deliciously warm and hearty baked potato dinner with a burst of freshness from that fresh and crunchy winter slaw with zingy yet creamy tahini herb dressing. |
NEW β¨ Simple Creamy Balsamic Mushroom SpaghettiIf you love a flavourful yet simple mushroom pasta dish, this one's for you. This recipe achieves the perfect balance of creaminess and luxury, complemented by a subtle sweetness and a zesty kick from the addition of balsamic vinegar. | Vanilla & Thyme Maple Roasted StrawberriesWith the abundance of strawberries (here in Australia), this is the perfect recipe. Perfect on porridge, thick yoghurt and granola, pancakes, ice cream, on toast with fresh ricotta or cream cheese. |
π₯³ The popular recipes on G&F in 2023
Here's a collection of the most popular recipes on Gather & Feast in 2023 that you may not have tried. A few notable mentions: the Oat, Coconut & Walnut Chocolate Chunk Cookies, Baked Rockling with Tomato Basil & Lemon Salsa with Creamy Cashew Aioli, and my Raspberry, Rose & Vanilla Cheesecake with Pistachio Rose Crust.
I'm pretty sure I accidentally threw out my favourite peeler the other day. I'm thinking of replacing it with 'The Forever Peeler' by Material Kitchen. I love its look and function, and that you can replace the blades. The 'Eva Green Peeler' also looks good, and the 'Y-Peeler' by OXO works a treatβI've used one of these for years.
Ella Mills' beautiful new book looks to be a great resource, filled with easy, minimal-ingredient, plant-based recipes that don't compromise on flavour or comfort.
These Cairn and Pebble salt and pepper mills by Ferm Living are beautiful! If you're seeking a more cost-effective alternative, I also love the Acacia pepper mill by IKEA - a classic.
'MEZCLA: Recipes to Excite' by Ixta Belfrage - beautiful and vibrant recipes and design.
These natural linen blue-edged napkins from IKEA are both beautiful and great value. I'm also loving the tablecloth and the grey glass serving plate from the same collection.
