I'm currently typing this from my study desk, gazing out the window at the old house across the street that is on the verge of being demolished. 🏚 My eyes can't believe the hilarious chaos unfolding before me: the property owner is outside, battling the pouring rain, sporting a white plastic poncho and dress shoes, and he's frantically attempting to dig out a rosebush at the entryway. Here's the chaotic part: a demolition worker is shouting at him from a huge bulldozer that's reversing off a truck and heading straight in his direction. This is the most excitement I've witnessed on our street in a while. To cut the story short, no one was harmed in the rosebush rescue, and it seems the rosebush lives to bloom another day! 😂 Anyway, that wasn't exactly the intro I had in mind for today, but it was just too good not to share.
